Our 8 a.m. service is a quiet celebration of the Holy Eucharist using Rite II and includes a sermon. There is no music, but the worship offers an excellent opportunity for both meditation and full participation.

Our 10 a.m. celebration of the Holy Eucharist uses Rite II, a contemporary language order. This worship also includes organ music and features choral music as appropriate.

Welcome, Reverend Daniel Green!
The vestry is very pleased to announce the call of Rev. Daniel Green to serve as
Trinity’s next rector.
Daniel Currie Green was born in Riverside, California and raised in California, Indiana, and Vermont. His childhood Christian formation was in a congregation of the Disciples of Christ. He studied religion, history, and philosophy at Williams College before taking a leave of absence in 1984 to campaign full-time for nuclear disarmament. This was followed by a period of travel and work in a variety of places and occupations, including community organizing in Houston, Texas, trail work in the Colorado Rockies, and construction and community development in Western Massachusetts and Nicaragua.
From 1988 to 1994 Daniel was a resident student at Green Gulch Farm and Tassajara Zen Mountain Center, temples of the San Francisco Zen Center. He was the Farm Manager at Green Gulch in 1993 and 1994, when he led the establishment of the renowned Farm and Garden Apprenticeship program. Later that year he hiked the John Muir Trail from Yosemite Valley to Mount Whitney, and then moved into San Francisco, where he began attending Episcopal churches. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Gregory of Nyssa Episcopal Church, where he was active as a liturgical minister, preacher, and Clerk of the Vestry, before being sponsored for Holy Orders. He worked for the San Francisco League of Urban Gardeners as the founding Farm Manager of St. Mary’s Urban Youth Farm, a job-readiness program for at-risk youth in the Bayview - Hunter’s Point district, before starting his own garden design, installation, and maintenance company, Green Man Gardening.
Daniel completed his Bachelors Degree at the California Institute of Integral Studies in 1999, and in 2022 was awarded an Excellence in Ministry scholarship from the Church Divinity School of the Pacific, where he earned the M.Div. degree in May, 2005. He was ordained a priest in December of that year, and immediately came to All Saints’, Carmel, California as Assisting Priest, later Associate Rector. In August 2010, he was appointed Priest-in-Charge of St. John’s, Petaluma, with the right to be elected Rector, which occurred in 2014. During his time in the Episcopal Diocese of Northern California he served on the Board of Trustees of the Diocese, and was Dean of the Russian River
Deanery from 2014 to 2022, during which time he supported congregations in Lake, Mendocino, and Sonoma Counties through an unprecedented series of catastrophic wildfires. From 2017 to the present he was the Bishop’s representative to the Diocese of Honduras, which has a companion relationship with Northern California, spending two months of sabbatical in Honduras and Guatemala in 2017. He has served on the Advisory Board of the Interfaith Sustainable Food Collaborative for over a decade, and co-founded Petaluma Interfaith Clergy with Rabbi Ted Feldman. In 2021, in response to an urgent need, he started the Petaluma Afghan Allies Project.Daniel loves reading, writing, singing, dancing, working in the garden, surfing, paddle-boarding and hiking. He is married to Meg Tinsley, a writer, artist, and psychotherapist, and they have a daughter, Risa, who is taking a break from UCBerkeley. They also have a yellow Labrador retriever, Luna, and a tortoise-shell cat, Carrot.

Music is a central part of our worship at Trinity. Paul and Jodi French provide the foundation of our music program, integrating traditional works with hymns and new compositions.

The body of Christ is present today in the way we help others in the world. Our outreach programs seek to serve those in need regardless of their circumstances.
